Peavey Delta Blues Amp Reviews 4

I've been playing guitar for over 30 years. My first guitar lesson was when I was 10 years old. I play guitar and mandolin. Currently i'm playing in a folk/bluegrass trio, and a four-piece rock band. My musical tastes range from rock, folk, blues, jazz.

I bought this amp new from a local dealer. I payed $499. I wanted a tube amp.

I own the 1-15" tweed version of this amp. I love it! 30 watts of pure tube tone, plenty of power for clubs, practice, studio. Spring reverb, overdrive, even tremolo! I play a Les Paul Junior through it and it really rocks! Great looks, well constructed with real metal corners for protection. The tubes are a bit exposed in the back, so you have to be careful when transporting it. But it sounds great, looks great, at a great price!

The only complaint I have with this amp is that the tubes are exposed quite a bit in the back. There is an aftermarket tube protector that you can buy for it, but I haven't bothered with it.

High quality amp, nice tweed cover. Even the handle is real leather! Protective corners are chrome steel. Good quality speaker also. Very well made.

I think this is an all around good value in an American made amp. Great tube sound, good looks, and quality built. Good value!
